Two major European hauliers are calling for service prices to be raised by an average of 6 per cent. This is supposed to be a response to rising fuel costs, traffic jams, payment congestion and problems finding willing workers.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/pmrsa.pl\/en\/whats-next-for-the-transport-industry-will-2024-be-the-end-of-the-crisis-in-the-industry\/\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"161\">The transport industry in Poland is going through a serious crisis<\/a>, according to data available in the Economic and Court Monitors. From the beginning of the year to the end of July, there were in <a href=\"https:\/\/pmrsa.pl\/en\/despite-the-crisis-companies-in-poland-do-not-give-up-on-investing-in-it\/\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"488\">580 companies in Poland<\/a>. The most <a href=\"https:\/\/pmrsa.pl\/en\/can-companies-afford-bankruptcy\/\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"163\">Bankruptcies are companies<\/a> from the transport and manufacturing sectors. For all <a href=\"https:\/\/pmrsa.pl\/en\/companies-can-escape-into-the-grey-zone-this-is-an-astronomical-increase-in-the-minimum-wage\/\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"407\">companies is a 14 percent increase<\/a> compared to the same period of the previous year. In <a href=\"https:\/\/pmrsa.pl\/en\/crisis-in-the-transport-industry\/\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"284\">transport industry<\/a> and production, the increase is as much as 29 percent.<\/p>\n<p>Experts blame the deteriorating business conditions for the current state of affairs \u2013 problems with <a href=\"https:\/\/pmrsa.pl\/en\/payment-backlogs-it-sector-debt-increased-by-one-fifth\/\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"431\">payment backlogs<\/a>, insufficient number of drivers and rising fuel costs, as well as new regulations on EU markets (minimum wage and drivers&#039; work standards). More and more Poles choose to work for foreign carriers, liquidating their own businesses, small family businesses.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the German Nagel Group and the Hungarian Waberers are unanimously calling on all carriers to raise their transport service rates by an average of 6 percent. In their opinion, this is the minimum that should cover <a href=\"https:\/\/pmrsa.pl\/en\/65-percent-of-companies-increased-prices-due-to-rising-energy-costs\/\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"487\">rising costs<\/a> running a business \u2013 it is no longer possible to optimize fuel consumption and transport logistics costs any further so as not to burden the end customer with them.<\/p>\n<p>According to restructuring advisors analyzing the liquidity of enterprises and threats to various business sectors, <a href=\"https:\/\/pmrsa.pl\/en\/the-transport-industry-is-facing-a-crisis-delays-in-funding-from-the-kpo-are-another-threat\/\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"308\">transport industry<\/a> next to the construction industry, it is currently in its most difficult situation in many years.<\/p>\n<div class=\"ramka1\">\n\u2013 Road carriers are experiencing a cumulation of unfavourable business factors.
