{"id":5983,"date":"2023-07-03T08:43:47","date_gmt":"2023-07-03T06:43:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pmr-restrukturyzacje.local\/pmr\/jakie-pomysly-maja-firmy-na-przetrwanie-w-kryzysie\/"},"modified":"2025-01-25T09:13:17","modified_gmt":"2025-01-25T09:13:17","slug":"what-ideas-do-companies-have-to-survive-the-crisis","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pmrsa.pl\/en\/what-ideas-do-companies-have-to-survive-the-crisis\/","title":{"rendered":"What ideas do companies have for surviving in a crisis?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>A study by insurance company Wiener, 'Small, medium-sized companies - great challenges for 2023', shows that how companies react to an unfavourable economic situation depends on their size.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It turns out that the largest companies, employing at least 50 people, were less likely than smaller companies to increase the prices of products and services (57% of large companies vs. 67% of small companies). They focused on building a financial cushion (39%), and every third applied for subsidies. Large companies were three times more likely than the smallest to decide to insure their company&#039;s assets (31% of large companies vs. 9% of small companies). <a href=\"https:\/\/pmrsa.pl\/en\/the-effects-of-coronavirus-will-be-felt-not-only-by-small-companies-but-also-by-sellers-of-durable-goods-at-risk\/\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"1981\">small businesses<\/a>) and expanding their operations in Poland (28 percent) and abroad (16 percent). Every fifth company moved its operations to the Internet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the other hand, the smallest companies (employing 1\u20139 employees) responded to the crisis <a href=\"https:\/\/pmrsa.pl\/en\/gas-price-hikes-polish-land-and-omicron-threaten-restaurants\/\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"532\">price increase<\/a> services. As many as 67 percent of business owners decided to do so. Small businesses also had to limit investments in response to the unfavorable economic situation - as many as 6 out of 10 companies admitted this. They also reduced their advertising expenditure more often (38 percent of small businesses <a href=\"https:\/\/pmrsa.pl\/en\/65-percent-of-companies-increased-prices-due-to-rising-energy-costs\/\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"479\">companies vs. 23 percent<\/a>. medium-sized companies). 12 percent of owners have limited their business activities <a href=\"https:\/\/pmrsa.pl\/en\/despite-the-crisis-companies-in-poland-do-not-give-up-on-investing-in-it\/\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"455\">companies in Poland<\/a>, and every tenth \u2013 also abroad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">@Rzeczpospolita writes about the details of the study<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"stopka1\"><b>The article appeared in the @Rzeczpospolita article:<\/b><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/rzeczpospolita.png\" title=\"\">29 June 2023.
