More and more consumers are cutting back on spending and giving up the comforts and pleasures that include eating out \ud83c\udf7d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is a huge problem for bar and restaurant owners, who themselves face a marked increase in the cost of doing business on a daily basis. As many as 67 per cent of restaurateurs see a marked increase in product prices, a rise of 12 percentage points year-on-year. Just as many highlight the high rental and lease costs \ud83d\udc68\u200d\ud83c\udf73<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As a result, industry sentiment is slipping again - the barometer of restaurateur sentiment worsened in every segment of catering establishments in 2022 compared to 2021. The overall index fell from -7 to -11, meaning that the already negative sentiment of industry representatives has only worsened further \ud83d\udcc9<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83d\udce3\"Unfortunately, these sentiments are not expected to change much in 2023. At present, the cost of doing business is not going down and the price of food commodities continues to rise.
