Meanwhile, other giants are slowing down. In June, Lanxess, a chemicals group based in Cologne, lowered its full-year profit forecast by as much as 30 percent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83d\udc49The Swiss chemical company Clariant followed suit, as did MDax Evonik.
